What is Coriolus Versicolor Extract?

Coriolus Versicolor Extract is a natural product extracted from the fruiting body of the Polyporaceae fungus Coriolus versicolor. It is usually in the form of brown powder, hygroscopic and soluble in water. Coriolus versicolor, also known as colorful leather cap fungus and variegated coriolus versicolor, is a large fungus widely distributed in forests around the world. Extraction Method

1. Solvent extraction method

Weigh 1 kg of dried Yunzhi fruiting body, crush it into particles of about 1 mm in size, and then load it into a chromatography column. First, soak it in 10L of chloroform at room temperature for 2 days, then use the percolation method to obtain the chloroform extract, and the extract is concentrated under reduced pressure and the chloroform is evaporated to obtain the Yunzhi fruiting body chloroform extract (CV). The filter residue is percolated with 10L of ethyl acetate and 10L of ethanol at room temperature in turn, and the extract is concentrated and dried to obtain the Yunzhi fruiting body ethyl acetate extract and Yunzhi fruiting body ethanol extract. Pour out the filter residue and load it into a hot extractor, and then use 10L of ethanol at 90℃ and distilled water at 95℃ in turn for hot extraction. The extraction time is 2h, and the extraction is performed twice. The extract is concentrated under reduced pressure and then dried with a vacuum freeze dryer to obtain the Yunzhi fruiting body hot ethanol extract and crude hot water extract. The crude hot water extract is precipitated overnight with three times the volume of 95% ethanol, and the supernatant is concentrated and dried to obtain the Yunzhi fruiting body hot water extract.

2. High-pressure homogenization method

Deionized water (pH 7.0) was added to the mycelium of Coriolus versicolor at a material-liquid ratio of 1:20. A high-pressure homogenizer was used for crushing, the homogenization pressure was 120 MPa, and the homogenization frequency was 1 time. Three times the volume of anhydrous ethanol was added to the homogenized liquid for precipitation, and the precipitation was filtered and dried to obtain the intracellular glycopeptide of Coriolus versicolor.
