KDS-5104 acts directly on PPARα and then regulates TFEB and downstream signaling, which in turn feedbacks to continue to enhance PPARα activity.
The PPARα-CD36 pathway regulates Aβ phagocytosis, while the PPAR-TFEB interaction promotes lysosomal degradation of Aβ.
